George Warshaw & Associates, P.C. is a Boston based law firm with offices in the Back Bay section of Boston, downtown Hingham and Nantucket.

The law firm was founded in 1979 by noted legal author, George Warshaw. While the principal area of practice is real estate, the law firm also provides legal services in the related areas of wills and trust documentation, business entities (such as limited liability companies and corporations), and certain other specialty areas of the law.

Over the years we have developed a business model that is unique in the legal profession. Working closely with our clients to gain a thorough understanding of their objectives is not enough. We utilize email and document scanning to keep our clients up to date, common practices in the business world but surprisingly underutilized among attorneys. As a result, our clients are informed of the progress of a transaction and aware of any issues as they may arise.

It’s often the little things that go unnoticed that indicate the quality of one’s work or attention to detail. It would shock many people to learn that nearly all lawyers place confidential documents and drafts (including loan applications, tax returns and financial documents) in the ordinary office waste basket, collected by a cleaning service and disposed of with the ordinary trash. This exposes a client’s social security numbers and financial data to anyone, especially identity thieves. We don’t.

Common sense and intelligent business practice require that we shred all documents and drafts. We go one step farther: we use a bonded shredding service that shreds all documents in a truck outside our office and guarantees your confidentiality.
