When a client requires a mortgage loan, we can direct the client to a lender whose capabilities best fit the client’s needs and concerns. We work with lenders that offer traditional fixed rate and adjustable rate mortgages, as well as those who specialize in interest-only products, specialty loans that use securities as additional collateral, and hard to place loans in which title is held in an estate planned trust, family limited partnership, limited liability company, or other title entity.
We work with lenders that will finance primary residences and second homes locally in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, and nationally in all 48 of the continental United States.
Escrow and Settlement Services in Massachusetts and New England
George Warshaw is a national title insurance agent. As a consequence, the law firm not only conducts closings in Massachusetts, but through its subsidiary, Criterion National Title Services, LLC, it is authorized to conduct closings in Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
This enables us to service the second home needs of our clients and lenders, and handle those unusual loans where the collateral is located in more than one state.
We have special expertise in representing banks and mortgage lenders. As part of our settlement services we research the title, resolve title problems, issue title insurance policies on behalf of major title insurers, and serve as settlement and escrow agent in the purchase and sale of homes and condominiums.
